is currently a freelance Set and Lighting Designer in New York City. 


Over the past 15 years she was nominated for a Drama Desk Award, a Horton Award, and a NAACP award, and has had the opportunity to work with many companies from around the world, including:  The Builders Association, Big Dance Theater, Dumb Type, Radiohole, Deborah Hay Dance Company, The Los Angeles Opera Company, Trinity Repertory Theater, Actor's Theater of Louisville, REDCAT, The New School for Drama, The Ohio Theater, New York Theater Workshop, Baryshnikov Arts Center,  DASS Dance, Carter Tuti, Yerba Buena Arts Center,  Festival de Liege, Collage Dance Theater, and The Center for New Performance, EMPAC, and many more. 


Laura is also the Co-Artistic Director and Director of Design for Blank-the-Dog productions.
